Bronze DofE – June 2024

A Team of 5 from Whicker Island & Wareham Explorer Units took part in their Bronze DofE Expedition in the Purbeck area on 29th June. Their aim on the Expedition was to identify team roles & monitor morale, food, weather & route. Saturday was extremely hot & a challenging route. Sunday was wet to start, a hot to finish. The team worked well together to achieve their Bronze award.
A big thanks to the supervisors and assessor for giving up their weekends. Congratulations to all five Explorers for completing their first expedition, DofE Silver is next!
